Are you a college student seeking opportunities to develop your marketing and communication skills? Thinking Maps, Inc. has an opening for a Marketing and Sales Intern for Spring 2020. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work closely with the sales and marketing teams and learn how to plan and execute targeted marketing campaigns, social media strategy and assist with a website transition.
Tasks may include, but are not limited to:
- Assist in email list management and work within CRM
- Support execution and distribution of targeted marketing campaigns via email and social media
- Work with marketing team on strategy and development of marketing plans
- Seek thought-leading content for our social media platforms and blog
- Assist in creation and branding of sales presentations and collateral materials
Our Marketing and Sales intern will gain a strong understanding of:
- Marketing/Sales Process
- Brand Management
- Email Marketing
- Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Software – Zoho
- Social Media Platforms
The qualified candidate is:
- Enrolled in a college/university earning a degree in marketing, communications, public relations, management or similar major with a minimum GPA of 3.0
- Able to write professional, clear, well-organized documents using appropriate vocabulary and grammar
- Familiar with social media platforms including: Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Drive
- Able to work independently and efficiently within a small team
- Familiar with Adobe InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator
This is a paid internship. Estimated weekly hours are 7-10 hours between 8:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.
